Mayday Parade release An New Album

Mayday Parade, on this July, they will have a tour with All Time Low. two bands in one stage, cool.

Co-produced, Zack Odom and Kenneth Mount, Mayday Parade marks a return to their songwriting roots; the entire album was themself-written as a collaborate with  the five great band mates.

The 12-song collection transpired through careful introspection and it echoes the musicians’ maturation over the two years since their second album, Anywhere But Here.

The band chose to pen each of the songs themselves, making the album perhaps their most personal to date, complete with relatable lyrics and their undeniable charm. Good job guys.

Recently, the band released a 6-song EP, Valdosta, containing four re-recorded acoustic versions of previous singles alongside two all new tracks.

Two days after the release of Valdosta, Songkick recognized Mayday Parade as the hardest working band of 2010 with 194 logged tour dates and over 71,000 miles travelled. The rockers placed above seminal favorites such as Willie Nelson and pop culture phenomena like Lady Gaga.

Mayday Parade first burst onto the scene with their 2007 debut A Lesson in Romantics, which received immense praise from critics and fans alike.

AbsolutePunk claimed it was sure to become “one of your most played [albums] of the summer.”

It went on to sell more than 170,000 copies and reached the Top Ten on the Billboard Heatseekers chart.

Mayday Parade member is vocalist/piano Derek Sanders, bassist Jeremy Lezno, guitarists Alex Garcia and Brooks Betts and drummer/vocalist Jake Bundrick.
